Salford College offers Vocational Education & Training in School Programs (VETiS) which are held and taught directly on the school sites in addition to the College campus.
The SIR50116 Diploma of Retail Leadership is focused on the real world and relevant contexts that make the student highly skilled and be ready by meeting the industry benchmark. Going through the program will give an individual the required skills to use immediately and encourage them to think diversely and at the same time continue to achieve growth in sales and profit.
The Diploma of Retail Leadership is ideal for experienced retailers looking to develop higher-level management capabilities and undertake increased responsibility for achieving results and the provision of team leadership. This program can be adapted to a range of specialist environments such as franchising, human resources, and multi-site management.
The qualification provides a pathway to work competently in a diverse range of retail settings. It will update your knowledge and build your retail skills further. The Diploma of Retail Leadership will provide you with the crucial skills and expertise to take care of the administrative and administrative obligations in a little retail shop, a segment or department inside a bigger retail store, or an independent company-to-business outlet.
Participant has achieved a SIR40316 Certificate IV in Retail Management
or
have relevant industry employment experience in a job role that has involved the application of skills and knowledge described in the core units competency from SIR40316 Certificate IV in Retail Management.

This course is subsidised through the Government of South Australia’s subsidised training indicative https://www.skills.sa.gov.au/subsidised-eligibility. The eligibility check is an indication only and does not confirm the eligibility status. Eligibility verification will take place during the enrolment
If eligible for subsidised training, apprentices and trainees are required to pay a Student Contribution Fee. The Student Contribution Fees are charged minimum at the rate of $0.25 per nominal hour for each unit of competency/module to be calculated at the commencement of the unit of competency/module.
If agreed between the employer and the apprentice/trainee, student contribution fees can be paid by the employer.
Job Trainer
Job Trainer provides school leavers, young people, and job seekers access to the training they need to get a job or develop new skills in responding to growing demand and creating pathways to future careers.
Students will pay Job Trainer rates if they meet eligibility criteria.

Standard Fee $4809
Job Trainer Concession fee $3219

The student tuition fees published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment.
In some cases though, students may be eligible for a partial or full exemption. School based apprentices and trainees are not required to pay a student contribution fee while they are still at school but may be required to pay fees once the training contract has been converted to full-time or part-time post school.
Employer would pay the gap fees for the course.

After achieving the SIR50116 Diploma of Retail Leadership , individuals could progress to Bachelor of Business.
To achieve the qualification a total of ten (10) units of competency must be completed, including four (4) core units and six (6) elective units.
Elective units are decided upon consultation with the Employer.
