The BSB30120 Certificate III in Business program will enable students to acquire skills required for basic administration work and clerical duties and enhance their understanding of the broader business working environment. School students can participate in this program outside their school hours.
The BSB30120 Certificate III in Business program considers a variety of roles across different industry sectors and examines a broad range of competencies including communication skills, problem solving, technology and relevant theoretical knowledge. The program endeavors to build upon the existing skills and knowledge that students currently have in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. By applying business practices to these skills students will gain a solid foundation for future career or study aspirations.
This qualification will equip students to make informed judgments on making business documents, supporting teamwork, prioritising work tasks, research and investigate business opportunities, and build upon the work health and safety requirements of the workplace
All students are required to undergo a suitability assessment to assess their aptitude for the course.
Students will undergo a LLN (Language, Literacy and Numeracy) assessment to finalise suitability of students as well as plan support for students during the course.
All students need to bring their own laptop/computer with windows compatibility for the course. Students will require access to the Internet during the course.
Student Self Funded
All training will be held in a classroom environment (both face to face and online). Access to computers is also available.
Students will be assessed on each individual unit and will be assessed via written assessments, report writing and observables. Students will have to clear each assessment to get a competency in each unit.
