The BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management is a widely focused course, especially suited to those wishing to upskill in a number of leadership and management areas. It is designed specifically for supervisors or middle managers that have responsibility for a team of people, as well as those who participate in operational planning and are involved in change management.

If eligible for subsidised training, apprentices and trainees are required to pay a Student Contribution Fee. The Student Contribution Fees are charged at the rate of $0.25 per nominal hour for each unit of competency/module to be calculated at the commencement of the unit of competency/module.
If agreed between the employer and the apprentice/trainee, student contribution fees can be paid by the employer.
Employer would pay the gap fees for the course. (This is non-refundable should a student decide to withdraw or not complete the qualification).
There are 12 units in this qualification out of which 6 are core and 6 are elective units. The Salford College Industry Advisory Panel has recommended the elective units which are most suitable for the workplace
