News Updates From The Hospitality College at Salford

Good luck to our students!
We’re delighted to let you know that four of our International commercial cookery students are competing in the Nestle Golden Chef’s Hat Award this year. Lee Li Peng, Rueangsit Chairakwatthana, Yoneoka Takuma and Poret Jerome — we’re proud of you … here’s wishing you all the best!

Well known in the Hospitality industry, the Nestlé GOLDEN CHEF’S HAT AWARD helps junior and apprentice chefs sharpen their cooking skills and broaden their prospects in the culinary world. As the longest running culinary competition in Australia, this event offers young chefs the chance to benchmark their skills against accomplished peers and find out where they stand, and what they need to do to improve their skills.

Chocolicious!
On another note, our trainers and students attended a chocolate master class organised by Australian culinary federation and presented by Jenny Key. We bring you pictures.
