Through hands-on training, you’ll develop food preparation techniques, hygiene protocols, and an understanding of kitchen operations—all vital for entry-level roles in hospitality, aged care, education, and health settings.

Equipment & Uniform Requirements
Bring your own:
- Chef’s knife and paring knife
- Non-slip, closed-toe shoes (preferably black)
- White or black polo shirt or chef’s jacket
- Black pants, white apron, white skull cap (hair nets provided)
This training is funded through the Government of South Australia and delivered by Salford College (RTO Code: 40298).
Successful completion leads to a Statement of Attainment for nationally accredited units listed on training.gov.au.
