CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
Overview
The CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling equips students with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to excel as a qualified tiler. This nationally recognised qualification prepares you for work in both residential and commercial construction, working with materials such as ceramic, glass, slate, marble, and clay.
Graduates will gain the expertise to cut, lay, and finish wall and floor tiles, apply decorative techniques, and follow industry standards for safety and quality.
Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work. Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement.
Duration
52 weeks (including 6 weeks of holidays)
Study Mode and Assessment Methods
Blended learning (face-to-face training, supervised online learning, and practical workshop sessions) 20 hours each week
Weekly Commitment:
14 hours face-to-face training
6 hours supervised online learning
Assessment is competency-based and includes:
- Knowledge questions
- Practical projects and tasks
- Observations in simulated workplace environments
All assessments reflect real workplace conditions and comply with the Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence
