BSB60420 – Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
Overview
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems
Duration
52 weeks over 4 terms, including breaks and holidays. The course is delivered over 2.5 days per week.
Study Mode and Assessment Methods
This course is delivered in a classroom environment and includes structured learning activities including theory, group discussions, case studies, presentations, role plays, research, projects, workplace simulated activities, computer activities and written assessments
Concession Eligibility
ou may be eligible for a government subsidised training place if you either live or work in South Australia, and you are:
- an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or
- a permanent Australian resident, or
- the holder of a an eligible visa
You also need to be one of the following:
- aged 17 years or over and not enrolled at school, or
- undertaking training through a training contract as an trainee in identified courses.
- Student should meet the minimum LLN requirement of the course

Fees
This course may be subsidised through the Government of South Australia’s Subsidised training indicative https://www.skills.sa.gov.au/subsidised-eligibility. The eligibility check is an indication only and does not confirm the eligibility status. Eligibility verification will take place during the enrolment
If eligible for subsidised training, apprentices and trainees are required to pay a Student Contribution Fee. The Student Contribution Fees are charged at the rate of $0.50 per nominal hour for each unit of competency/module to be calculated at the commencement of the unit of competency/module.
If agreed between the employer and the apprentice/trainee, student contribution fees can be paid by the employer.
Employer would pay the gap fees for the course.
(this is non-refundable should a student decide to withdraw or not complete the qualification).
Tuition Fee – $14,900
Non – Tuition Fee comes to $650 and the details are given below:
Application Fee – $350 (Non-refundable and payable upon submission of your application. This is a separate fee and not included in the total course cost.)
Material Fee – $300

Pathways
International students are encouraged to complete Diploma of Leadership and Management or other relevant qualification prior to entering to the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
